An afternoon in town is making me scream T-I-R-E-D! Bought a pair of loafers at FEP and went to exchange for my Takashimaya's vouchers. I think I'll need to get another pair of jeans/ shorts and I'll be done with my shopping this sem's break.

Oh ya, this is so classic. We were about to get out of the train and there was this super inconsiderate guy who was standing right in the middle- blocking the entrance and refusing to budge. And so Serene managed to step on his toes with her heels! The whole scene was hilarious ttm!

PS- Not shaken, just a breeze.

Part of the HSCBand Alumni!
Azam's the unprofessional photographer. *hey, I gave u credit okay!

Okay I know how environmental-unfriendly I am, like using the electricity when it's supposed to be earth hour.

Went back to Haising today and performed during the carnival. It was fun but the weather was pretty humid. Yes, I'm missing these school times alot. It's been 2 years since graduation and as much as I hate to admit, I'm getting older grrr!

Later met up with Serene, then went home to change for dinner at Astons. Dang, again haha!

PS- 11 more days to Europe, faster please!

25/3/2009

Today was a long day. Went Mt. Vernon with my dad and grandmother to pay respects to my grandfather for Qing Ming. Later, had to visit my aunt who was warded in the hospital cos of a leg injury. After that, dad dropped me at TM and I helped him to collect his Levis along the way. See what a good daughter I am:)

Met up with the girls for dinner. Bus-ed over to Astons and had Chargrilled Chicken. And yes, Yunni is always ranting about the same people. Janice is ever concentrating on her meal and Chiamin is always going "Eh, take photo take photo!". It feels good to do meetups but we're missing Wanxuan this time.

Okay, am feeling quite tired from all the travelling.

I BOUGHT MY FIRST PACKET OF CIGARETTES TODAY, what a historical moment! I can hear some gasps of shock, muahaha! Don't worry, I don't smoke, it's just part of the praying items to get for my grandfather.

26/3/2009
I went shopping today, bought a grey basic from Zara and had Chippy's calamari.

PS- And the rest shall be a mystery.

Okay, today is definitely crazy!
the anticipation of choosing your timetable is worse than the release of results. I was on the verge of crying when npal is lagging and I haven't got into a class yet.

thankfully, there's always the help of my friends! THANKS ALOT!

And special thanks to Daniel, for trying time and time again to put me in the same class as my friends! Owe you big time, bro!

On a note, TB28 last sem is separated. Am very sad and will definitely miss the people and all the laughing- class outing at Sentosa and CNY celebration during KPT's lesson.

PS- Okay, am feeling damn hungry now.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CALISTA!

you're the 1st classmate I've known in NP. haha credits to Sockling! I thought you were some quiet girl in the beginning and it turns out that looks are very deceiving indeed! let's continue to chiong for shuttle buses and 154 for the next 2years!

as for your present, I shall tie *coughs coughs* and fedex him to your house:)

Went for the 3rd service today. After church, went to do alittle shopping with my parents. Okay, my mum's the winner cos she has the most buys. I only bought a pair of peep-toe flats and it's damn cheap, so am very satisfied. And Daddy bought another pair of Levis.

My house will be undergoing painting when we're away for holiday. And the best part, my parents are leaving me in charge. Am deciding on a bold colour for my living room, but the colour seems to clash with my sofa set, so am thinking of changing the sofa too. Will probably shop for the sofa set during GSS.

Am feeling very excited, I guess my parents will be in for a surprise when we get back from our trip.

PS- The new is hidden in the old.

Went to Changi T3 yesterday for dinner with mummy and family. Had Popeyes, I always love their mashed potatoes and biscuit.

And today was a long day. Had to go to SA tours office at Chinatown to make the final payment and attend the briefing. Then, had to drop by my mum's colleague's house for the housewarming party.

Dinner was at a golf club in Sin Ming area and there's a prawning pond beside the restaurant. Am intending to go prawning but I guess, it'll just be a waste of money if I catch nothing. Later, went to Changi T3 for coffee before heading home.

On a note, Simin and I are thinking of joining the Board Games Club.

PS- Who ate the cookie in the cookie jar?
okay, so not me.

Results are out.

Finally, plucked my courage and take a look at it. One glance and a pause momentarily. Suddenly, all the anxiety and gaga over it seems silly. Relief? Well, did drop alittle as compared to last sem. Am hoping to maintain the cumulative one for the coming sems.

Shall not brood over it and channel to doing something practical instead. And so all the talk about watching lesser videos and going out less. Not that I'll adhere to them though, but the idea is I'll have to work harder.

Gonna chill out and play hard- that's what the holidays are for right? And there's the Europe trip to look forward to before next sem starts.

Eth and Qara- I give thanks.

PS- I'm glad it's over now.
He gave me peace, the rest I'll ask for wisdom.

Today was like any other slacking day, except with the company of Chiamin. American Idol's tonight, there's Carrie Underwood! I shall be fair and mention Randy Travis too. I knew which contestant is booted out already- grrr spoiler.

Tomorrow's the release of results. This is definitely sick, why must we go through the jitters every semester? I just want to get it done and over with. Okay, am helping my dad with some paperwork, gtg.

I know my guiding star will make a way when there seems to be none.

<-edits>
some alcohol will be a good help to knock me off till tmr morning. all the jitters and anticipation is killing me. seriously this is definitely sick, how can students stomach all these for every single sem? somehow, I think the bottle of Baileys is smiling sweetly at me.

PS- High stakes, but I remembered the promise of a bountiful harvest.

Shopping plan was cancelled, well I guess it'll have to be on Saturday when I meet Cheryl. BUT, I did go out today, hah didn't stay home to rot.

Tampines> Tiong Bahru> Tampines> Carol's> Home

Met up with Serene at Tiong Bahru after running some errands for Mummy. Lunch was seafood ramen at Ajisen. Mrt-ed back to Tampines but I didn't feel like going home yet, so I bus-ed to Carol's for my haircut. After all the travelling and I think partly due to the weather, my migraine was back. Decided to cab home, board the cab and realised that peak period actually starts at 5pm. Felt so cheated, had to pay 35% extra for the meter fare grrrr. If I knew, I'll have taken the damn bus.

On a note, SA tours called me today about my Europe trip. It's a confirmed departure yay- not like the Korea trip last year! Guess I'll need to run an errand for my parents to make the final payment and probably attend the briefing this Saturday.

PS- 21 more days to go...

Okay, am feeling so lazy today. Promise to get out for shopping tomorrow! And my top from online arrived today. It's alittle too long, probably wear it as a dress.

Things to get this holiday:
1. Tops- got 2. am thinking about the Zara grey basic.
2. Bottom- find something from F21 tmr.
3. Bag- got it already:)
4. Wallet- probably the one from Dorothy Perkins?
5. Watch- well, next sem break.
6. iTouch- a birthday gift? but first, anyone interested in my nano and shuffle?
7. Shoes- VANS? DP?

I need a haircut. Am thinking of keeping my hair longer, but I'll need a trim, the fringe is messy. Hah but I'm so lazy to travel to Carol's. Yes, I'm turning into a very lazy person and I don't careeeee!

On a note, am not going for the final interview. Rivervalley is abit troublesome for me, plus 2 more wks before going overseas. My parents want me to stay home, cook and clean the house.

PS- my faith shall be my anchor.
3 more days...

March is definitely the babies month! Okay, that doesn't sound nice to my finances but I probably have to start shopping for presents tomorrow.

Someone called me today. I'm shortlisted for an interview at an insurance company. The company actually uses DISC- okay if you forgot, remember the personality test during OBSE lessons? Will be waiting for another email from the manager, considering the fact that I'll only be able to work for another 2wks plus.

Somehow, am not excited about the possibility of a job. I'm in a very relaxed mood, waiting for 8th April to come quickly. But first, results will be out on friday.

Let's trust GOD- 2009 will be a dektos year with free favours that profusely abounds!

On a note, my f21 spree stuff arrived:)

PS- I'm sure miracles do happen.

Liverpool- You'll never walk alone.
1-4! Woohoo, you definitely kicked someone's ass! Favourites- Torres and Gerrard!

Had band in the morning. 1 more practice to the carnival. Got home, bathed and changed before accompanying my parents to bring my little cousin to the chinese doctor. Dinner was Wee Nam Kee Chicken Rice at Thomson- my favourite! Then, went to my grandmama's house to visit her before heading home.

On a note, I'm not gettting much of a night life. The last time I drank was like a month ago? My drinking kakis are either overseas or in army now. See how much this sucks? Yes, I need drinking soon, so please date me out!

PS- This will make me darn happy!

bored.
yes, I think I need someone to tell me to get a life.

too lazy to get out of the house, so I ordered pizza and watched "My Super Ex-Girlfriend" online. I'm evolving into a couch potato soon.

yay, Mr Postman knocked on my door today with my Mango Mandarin Body Splash from Bath & Body Works.

on a note, 7 more days to results. God bless me- gosh I seriously need that!

<-edits>
Yup, as you can see, I've changed the blogskin. It's very jelly-beans, not that I love them but they are pretty colourful.

Was youtubing and I chance upon Kara Dioguardi. She sings amazingly well and her band rocks too! What's more, I realised that close to half of the songs in my ipod are actually written by her. Well, talk about talent.

PS- "For sale: nagging wife, very high maintenance"

Finally, I got to meet up with Chiamin.

Went to PS to get some stuffs. We are on a secret mission. Hah, I'm thinking us sound like some secret agent. Well, we are trying some stuffs out, hopefully the response will be good.

on a note, there's American Idol tonight with special performance by Kelly Clarkson! Nice one. Bad news, my migraine is back, grrr!

PS- Life's overrated? Bet on it.

Okay, online shopping is the worst temptation ever.

You see something and you go "Hey, that's cheaper than the store!" I just went net-surfing and bought 2things. Mango Mandarin from Bath & Body Works Collection and a top from a lj shop. Cheap cheap, how to resist?

Will be heading down to Vivo first before meeting the poly girls for steamboat in the evening.

<-edits>
Vivo was cancelled, somehow it's a good thing because I'll not be able to spend. Met up with the girls at Bugis and I was like 20mins late. Yes, I'm so very sorry. And our dear dino was sick, get well soon okay!

Walked around in search of a nice place but we went back to the first shop we saw. I was the chef for the night. Hanny is funny because she needs her rice. Calista is lucky cos I kept putting food on her plate. Sherlyn is health-conscious like the food being salty.

Headed to Bugis to shop. Saw this very pretty pair of shoes from Dorothy Perkins, like when did DP sell shoes too? Didn't get it at the end, but am still thinking of it.

On a note, I think I'll be able to receive all my spree stuff by the end of the week. yay:)

Pictures soon. Be patient because it's a virtue!

Okay, I'm feeling super dumb right now.

Great, I got a job. A good one that pays well.
But I rejected the offer. And did it twice.

Cos I had to work half-day on sat and I have band on sat. I'm not trying to make myself sound noble or what, but the thought of backing out last minute is something at the bottom of my list.

And now, I'm regretting my decision. I think of the watch I saw yesterday and my stupidity hits me. The HR guy even called me twice to confirm with me. And I said I can't take the offer.

PS- My brain must have gone hay-wired.

Kbox-ed with Simin at Hougang last friday. Had a good time taking eyeless pictures, singing oldies and duets. Hah and we discovered the bio-magnetic bracelet- inside joke!

Woke up early for Alumni band practice yesterday. It was fun meeting up with my juniors and seniors again. Lunch-ed with my juniors at KFC then went home, bathed and changed for some Music Awards at Marina Platform.

Met up with Edwin, Desmond, Lishan and my uncle at City Hall. Had a light dinner before queueing up to get seats. Saw Show Luo, Stefanie Sun, Lin Feng, JJ Lin and many more. And seriously, I went crazy screaming for Show Luo, his performance was awesome!

Was damn shagged when I reached home. Throat is super sore from all the screaming and also, the singing on friday.

Thanks Edwin, for getting me a ticket.
Thanks Desmond, for paying for my dinner and stuffs.

Okay, gotta prepare for church.
will upload pictures when I come back.

PS- The best is yet to come.

3/3/2009
Life's getting pretty boringgg.

I'm so excited for tomorrow! Haha, my weekly highlights since the start of 2009. Today was undeniably disappointing, but they tried making up for everything. lalala, I'm speaking in riddles.

On a note, was home with Serene today. We ditched our shopping plans cos it was raining. Hah, you must be thinking like why can't these people go out on a rainy day? We're just plain lazy and the wet weather kinda dampened our mood. Tomorrow, okay?

my videos have finished loading. shall go and watch them now. oh ya, thank me for killing like a minute of your boredom? Haha or more/less if you're a slow/fast reader.

<-edits> 4/3/2009
Headed to town with Serene in the afternoon. Walked around, didn't see anything to buy. Decided to splurge on food instead- ramen, gelato, sponge cake and japanese pancake. Haha we shared okay, not as if I can finish all that.

Some agency called me today for a job at some bank in Raffles. They've sent my resume, so I'm still waiting for their reply. Let's hope I'll get the job so I can get my watch:)

PS- It's vacant, and silent.

I think I should start looking for a job. NOW? On the other hand, I still want a week more of slacking. Sighs...

Spent the day reading my book and watching Slumdog Millionaire. It's a great movie, they definitely deserve the 8 Oscars! It's time the world gets bored of the glitzy glamour and shift their focus to harsh reality. Poverty cycle- vicious indeed.

Someone is complaining of how wordy my blog is. Yes, I know and I'm gonna justify.
1) Alot of people owe me a great deal of pictures
2) I don't like taking pictures on my hp/camera
3) I'm too impatient to wait for the picture to load

Ok, I seriously think I should look for a job. If not, I'll be so tempted to get stuffs online. Have self-proclaimed I shall survive on my savings this vacation instead of getting an allowance.

Went to exchange for euros for our trip. Am intending to spilt the amount cos of the unpredictable rates. Have been hovering over forex exchange too much these days.

PS- Enough of rants.

1st March 2009. Ok, I'm just trying to illustrate how fast time flies.

Went to church for the 1st service. After that, decided to do alittle shopping. Seriously, there's nothing much to look at. Wanted to get a pair of shoes from Lacoste and guess what, they only have size37 for that design! Damn, I'm a 38!

<-Gridlock->
A cup of Iris Nut Creme and a slice of Chocolate Truffle from GJ's. Put on my earphones and my favourite songs start playing from my ipod. A page from the book, a sip of freshly-brewed coffee and a spoonful of the chocolaty delight.

Just reading, as time passed me by.

An intimate moment that I indulge, or so I wish, only more often. Immersed by the works of literature, not bothered with a casual glance on my watch or what my senses captivate to my attention.

A peace that settles ever so lightly in the air and your spirit is at at rest. What more in life could one ever ask for? Riches and fame? I'll gladly pass.

Like an impasse, even time is a subject to a standstill.

PS- It's been awhile.

the flowers have all faded now.
