2008 is ending soon.

Well, 2008 has been a good year for me. The highlight of the year definitely goes to the release of my GCE O-Level results. It marks another milestone that I've crossed and one of my life transforming decisions- to pursue a tertiary education at NP.

I guess, this year is probably the one that I've matured the most. Somehow, I am clearer about what I want in my life. But hey, all the maturing didn't make me lose the kid in me. Hangouts with my friends, doing the silly and retarded things definitely make my top10 most classic moments!

I want to thank GOD for his blessings, favours and grace on me. I want to thank my parents for being ever so supportive of my decisions. I want to thank my friends for being there in good and bad times. Lastly, thank you to everyone that has been a help to me.

Stupid bus missed my stop today, cabbed down to Changi T2 to meet Calista at MACs for ITB project. Completed 2webpages, 3 more to go! Later, Simin came to meet us and we went for Sakae teatime buffet! Hahah Simin and I ate alot, think Calista only managed to eat half of my share.

Took some pictures and the two bullies *hmph, I think mainly Calista!* kept taking my unglam pictures. So grrr! 1 meal of Sakae settles my breakfast, lunch and dinner. How great huh? *hello fats!*

After that, we skytrain-ed to T3. As usual, Simin did alot of retarded things on the way- what's with the random singing, dancing and leaning to the "glass panel"! So kuku to the max! Ok, I shall be nice to her cos my fate lies in her hands, she better not post my unglam pictures!

Got some sweets from CandyEmpire, then bus-ed home sweet home!

Went for the 3rd service today. Prayed over the coming year, gonna believe GOD for a better 2009, despite all the negativity going on in the world. After church, had White Chocolate Mocha and a blueberry muffin at Gloria Jeans Coffee, before heading over to VivoCity.

Made reservations at Crystal Jade for our post-Christmas dinner- it's my family's little tradition. This time, we didn't have turkey, but Daddy ordered lobster baked with cheese! Dinner was darn good and to top it off, dessert was Mango Sago and a scoop of Haagen Dazs vanilla ice cream.

Later, shopped around the mall. Despite the attractive sales going on, I only bought a pair of demin shorts from F21.

Anyway, I'm here to blog all the fun I had with my loved ones this Christmas. Thank GOD for gearing me up for this wonderful season! My wish for this Christmas came true- all I wanted was to spend time with my loved ones and I've truly enjoyed myself in the company of these fabulous people!

Christmas Eve
Busy day! Daddy sent me to Laurel's house to collect the 2cakes- Choco Lemon and Choco Trilogy that I've ordered from her. Her cakes are heavenly *omg, faints* and I ordered pizza too. Then, Yunni and Chiamin came to my house and Daddy drove us to Changi T3 to buy Popeye Chicken. Dropped us at Safra- NSRCC, then went to pick my other relatives. Wanxuan met us straight there, thanks for the box of chocolates girls!

Waited close to an hour to get into the K-room. It's freaking big, meaning you sing from a projector instead from a TV! Played 2 games of bowling and 2 games of pool. Later, Daddy sent us to Kenneth's house for Christmas countdown!

Justin, Yiying and this guy *hmph, I don't know his name* came also. Played abit of audition, saw Kenneth's massive collection of dvds which was totally crazy and we all fought over what movie to watch. In the end, we settled on Moulin Rouge and seriously, it's damn nice! Countdown to Christmas was vodka and coke, plus we wearing the silly Christmas hats over our heads. Left before the ending of Moulin Rouge.

Got home around 2am.

Christmas Day
Did some last minute-shopping for our gift exchange, before meeting the rest in the late afternoon at TM. Had late lunch at LJS, draw lots and exchanged our gifts. Wanxuan got my present while I got Yunni's. Took pictures and Janice somehow discovered her talent for photography.

Mrt-ed to City Hall with Chiamin. Bought tickets for Yes Man- 9.15pm at Marina Square GV. Shopped around and we went over to Suntec, so Chiamin can get her flats at Cotton On. Met up with Wanxuan and we went Rockery for bubble tea and rest our aching feet. Took pictures with her before she went off to meet Jael for KC's party.

Walked over to Esplanade for some music, Chiamin and I got a good time taking tons of pictures. Later, headed back to Marina Sq for our movie. Hahah and I saw Winson twice concidentally with his group of friends. Movie was hilarious, but I felt that some parts were boring.

After the movie, mrt-ed home with Chiamin. Reached home around 12.30am.

Oh ya, all thanks to Chiamin for sending me the pictures! Hahah we took 151 pictures in just 2days- totally serious camwhoring! The ones I posted are only a fraction of what we've taken and unlike Chiamin, who took the trouble of posting one by one on her blog, I made some of the pictures into collages, hahah I'm lazy!

Well, it's the eve of Christmas Eve.
I'm getting alot of the Christmas-y vibes this year!

Hahah, but the truth is I've not been shopping much for gifts. Plans for Christmas are still messy, will try to sort them out asap! In the meantime, please wait patiently for my sms-es!

I got another new phone- SAMSUNG S7330!

Went to Singtel today, they changed a new MWG for me but when they did the testing, the phone was locked out and we have no idea how it happened also. The manager's really nice, he allowed me a change of other phones or wait for them to transfer stocks again.

I was thinking since I had to change the phone twice and it's not to my favour, I don't think we are fated. Hahah, so I changed to Samsung S7330! My dad's really nice, he didn't mind topping up the difference to get OMNIA, but I just couldn't let him pay anymore for my Christmas present. It's ok since I get 2more chances to change phone again next August.

Yup, later did some shopping. Bought a top for presentation wear at FOX. Sighs, I need to shop for CNY clothes soon:)

Ok, I feel super tired now, my legs are aching like mad.

Woke up early for church today. We had a special pre-Christmas celebration at Indoor Stadium, it was really awesome especially the Praise and Worship! After that, Mummy brought me to have the famous prawn noodles. Thought it was so-so, hmph probably I'm not a big fan of prawns.

Mummy headed for home and I mrt-ed to City Hall to meet Chiamin. We went Esplanade to take some photos, Chiamin is gonna send them to her love in America hahah! Next stop was Marina Square. Chiamin and I bought the same Ipanema slippers, they are so cheap- 50% discount!

Mrt-ed to Dhoby Ghaut, saw KeeHan working in NUM at The Cathay. Queued for almost an hour to get seats in Astons, had Chargrilled Chicken and orange juice. Accompanied Chiamin to scout for her Christmas gift exchange. Oh ya, I bought a bag from Ripcurl and it's so niceeeee!

Mrt-ed back to TM, Chiamin bought her gift at Isetan. There's a newly-opened Cotton On outlet in TM, how exciting hahah! Went Singtel to ask about my phone and seriously, they piss me off, hopefully I can settle the problem tomorrow.

My godfather stocked up my fridge with bird's nest. Hahah I think that's his Christmas present for me, thanks yo! Gonna charge my mother for every bottle she eats, nah I'm just kidding, I'm nice!

Hmph, so I didn't head to town yesterday. Was so damn lazy to get out of the house. Spent the whole day watching movies and eating chips. The weather has been perfect these days, but I haven't been keeping my promise of swimming at least once a week. Sighs.

Had section outing today. Met up with Hakeem, Azam, Fahdilah and Yunyee to Somerset. Bought tickets for Twilight at Cathay Cineleisure, hahah my second time watching the movie but still, I enjoyed it. Lunch was Korean Charboiled at BBQ Chicken.

Then, went to Changi General Hospital to visit my grandma with my parents. I thank GOD for making her operation smooth and successful. She looks pretty cheerful, even though she just had her OP today. And seriously, she's a joker!

This was what happened:
After her OP, she went to roam around the hospital without telling anyone and the worried nurse called Daddy that my grandma is missing! Hahah, then they found my grandma at the lobby and my grandma's classic line is "Wah, now hospital not bad huh? Got shopping one!" LOL!

The casio watch that I bought from a lj spree has arrived today. It wasn't what I expected, but I think I'll still wear it though. Sighs, I'm still contemplating if I should head to town tomorrow for shopping. But grrr, I feel so lazy.

Woke up early to queue at Singtel this morning. Daddy's super itchy fingers messed up my phone settings and now, I'm having problems with the camera function. Yup, so now, I'll have to wait for stocks to arrive before doing an one-to-one exchange with them.

Later, met up with Chiamin to SHAW Lido for Twilight! Lunch-ed at KFC. The book's definitely better, hahah but I'll not mind catching it for the second time. Later, mrt-ed back to TM to meet up with Wanxuan and Yunni.

Dinner was at Sakae. Ordered a-la carte, had Terriyaki Chicken Ramen and the bowl was freaking huge! Roamed around the mall and next stop was Swensen's. Shared Topless 5 and fries. Hahah, we were all so food crazy today and tsk, all the fats!

Went for the 2nd church service today. Anyway, our church is supporting The Boys' Brigade Sharity Gift Box, so we bought rice and biscuits. Hope these will be able to help some of the less fortunate.

For this season of giving, you can also do your part for charity by donating food items at the various collection points in Singapore.

After church, lunch-ed at SOUPERLICIOUS. Ordered Beefy Goulash and I love the sour cream! Then, went to Grandmama's house to visit her before heading home.

ITB paper sucks big time. Nearly fainted when I saw the essay Qs. Oh well, let's not cry over spilled milk, at least I think I can pass the paper. Yup, perhaps that's a good sign?

After ITB, bus-ed down to Dhoby Ghaut with the class. Went Carl's Jr for late lunch/ early dinner. Shopped around PS, then headed to ALPS around 7pm. Ordered Chivas, finger food and dessert. Played the Truth or Truth game, hahah and the content is so *not for the pure and innocent*!

My parents and Uncle Jimmy came also. Finished our bottle, went back, got home, bathed and I literally crashed on my bed.

I feel so frustrated with myself, no matter how hard I try to memorise those IT stuff, nothing gets into my head! And I think studying for ITB is totally stupid, then what's the use of the IT department since business people do/know it all?

Hahah, so to increase my IT knowledge, spent the whole morning, figuring how to use my new phone. I'm pretty familiar with the functions now and stupid Michael says my stylus looks like a toothpick!

I GOT MY NEW PHONE TODAY- MWG ZINC II!

Hahah, so Daddy went to queue at Singtel today. Then he came home and bluffed me that the phone was OOS, I was super disappointed. While I was having dinner, he took the phone and put it on my table. Thanks alot, Daddy!

The phone's design is seriously very cool! The functions are abit confusing, shall figure how to use them when I finish my exams. In the meantime, I'll only use the phone for sms and call purposes.
