I'm in DSS lesson now! Damn dumb and I'm clueless again on wth to do...

Anyway, I cabbed to school again today! That's 6 times since school started and it's only the 3rd wk now. All thanks to the late shuttle bus! Wanted to meet Abigail but then she overslept so in the end, I cabbed with Sock Ling, Calista and their friend to NP. The taxi driver can go participate in F1 competition. Felt so sick sitting in front so I read the BMGMT notes to sidetrack my concentration!

Today is gonna be a very long day cos I had Youth Alliance Meeting at 6pm. But nvm, tomorrow is Labour day and I want to go shopping! Meeting CLOTT members tomorrow too. Can't wait:)

OK, I'm in BMGMT lecture now and the lecturer is very very very boring! But then, I shall be a good girl and listen to her, anyway my labtop is currently running on low batt.

Calista says HELLO! Anyway she's playing Neopets beside me now and Simin's on my right playing PSP. Hahah, our whole row is like using labtop lol and no one is listening to the lecture!

Aargh, I feel so sick! Been blowing my nose for the past hour, while figuring how to do DSS. Damn irritating! I'm like having a bad flu, but I'm in my air-con room because the weather is so hot! Aargh, IRRITATING!

Cabbed to school all the way from Tampines to Clementi today! Again, due to the stupid shuttle bus! In the end, I shared cab with KeeHan, Abigail and the ex-E4 guy to NP and we were like damn early cos we reached school like 8.35am.

Lessons were cool today and as always except for BLAW tutorial. I don't understand the tutor's questions and how did he want us to answer him. It's something like generation gap, but in this case, I think is the language gap. He's British and I think we all don't understand WTH is the other party talking. Sometimes during his tutorial, it's seriously annoying but then Calista and I will always joke about him! Yup, I also find him pretty lame too cos his questions is like the DUH-style.

Class outing today was semi-fun, since we didn't have much time cos we had MAEC makeup tutorial. Bus-ed to town and we went for early dinner at 6pm. Window-shopped for awhile and some of the girls left for home. No long later, Calista and I followed suit too cos we want to go home to complete DSS. But nvm, next time we shall go K-Box and watch a movie also, cos today we lacked of 4people to complete the class portrait:)

Let's do a summary of what happened today and yesterday.

Sat: Tried to complete all my tutorial hw. In the end, I only completed MAEC, BLAW and a bit of DSS. I don't understand wtf am i supposed to do for DSS, it's so complicated that I don't think anyone in the right mind will use Excel! So, I gave up in frustration! After that, I had a change of plans, went with my parents and aunt to visit my grandmother. She had a fall and sort of hurt her head cos she felt like fainting, but luckily she's alright now, just that her blood pressure is too low.

Sun: Went to church. Coincidentally, I saw Michelle's parents and then found out that his dad has changed jobs and now, he's the CEO of NUSS Alumni clubhouse. Anyway, he wanted my dad to join as a member, but I think he's not gonna be keen cos we rarely use the facilities there.

I planted $100 into the Miracle Seed for the building of One-North and I'm very proud of myself. Anyway, I think I should give back to God cos HE gave me a miracle for my O-level results and HE has always blessed me! It's really not possible that I could have done well when I didn't even study much for it. The most amazing thing is that last Sunday, during Miracle Seed collection for all 4services only, we collected a total of $18 million! HALLELUJAH!

Oh ya, we had Darlene from Hillsong Church all the way from Australia with us during Praise and Worship today! She's really awesome! After church, I had Carl's Jr with my parents. OMG, totally damn fattening. We had chilli cheese fries, strawberry milkshake and Portbello Mushroom Burgers! But then, it's really damn satisfying:)

Went for LMS today and found that it's really a waste of time. I mean, after all I have travelled for more than 1hr and I only gonna go there to learn about life management skills. Not exactly important, but then I still want to do well for that module to help push up my GPA. Anyway, I was like MSN-ing and playing Wahjong the whole time.

Mrt-ed home with Sock Ling and Weiwei. They are really funny lol! I think the world is really small. Sock ling is my OG friend, then she knows Calista. After that, Calista becomes my classmate. Both of them know Weiwei and she's Janice primary school friend and I'm Janice's friend. Funny right?

I'm starting to feel stressed. Poly is not exactly slack or easy like what many have perceived it to be. There's really alot of work to do and you gotta be very independent. You have to understand lecture notes and tutorials and there's no one really to teach you everything step by step. You gotta learn it yourself if you want to get good grades. If not, you can enjoy life first then regret later when it comes to exams and you start to panick, then it'll be really too late.

Today was a long day, but it was so FUN!

MAEC Lecture was kinda long and I found out that I'll need to read-up on the notes again to understand the chapter better. Then we went for MAEC tutorial and were late again because of the toilet visit, so I repeated my usual excuse that we lost our way and couldn't find the classroom!

The aircon today was so strong that I was like shivering in class, think it must be the rain in the morning that caused the weather to be cooler. For that previous sentence, I have just committed the Fallacy that Association is Causation! LOL.

Lunched with TB28 GIRLS today! Soo Kuan aka Lady Boss kept entertaining us with jokes, I laughed till my stomach hurts and I didn't finish my HorFun. Then Jacelyn and Soo Kuan had a little tiny bet, in the end Jacelyn lost so she had to do ..........(ok, i shall not say it here but it's DAMN FUNNY!)

Went for DSS workshop and guess what? WE WERE LATE AGAIN! Plus, we cooked up a stupid excuse that "Oh, the cook need to go catch fish for fish and chips, that's why we were late!" Hahahah and luckily the tutor hasn't started the lesson yet.

Slacked during DSS, partly because we didn't know wth the tutor was saying and we were all too distracted to bother him. I even played Wahjong and some of us were even chatting on MSN. But nvm, somehow we are damn smart and we managed again to figure out we were supposed to do!

*I got a throat infection for 3days already and it's really uncomfortable!

I'm bored!

Today was tiring cos I have to carry so many things to school! During DSS tutorial today, I was so blur, hey this inculdes everyone in the class. We all didn't have a damn clue of what the teacher is trying to say. Plus, the most classic thing was that he didn't know how to spell CREAM!

Jacelyn and I were like two lost souls so we decided to seek help. Hahha and it turns out, nobody knew what the hell he was talking. But I must admit that we are damn smart, cos we figured out what actually we were supposed to do by ourselves!

Lecture for Business Management was super boring. The teacher was not explaining anything, just plainly reading from the slides that were given as lecture notes. It's in fact pointless to attend her lecture! But luckily, the tutor for Business Mgmt is good or else I'll be finished! Time for some confession: I skipped the ending part for lecture cos the lecturer was showing this stupid video. In fact, everyone left lol!

As for now, I'm trying to kill some time before Rotaract Meeting at 5.30pm.

School was fun today. I'm so in love with NP, it's like school is so interesting that makes the travelling distance from Tampines to Clementi worthwhile!

After tutorial, I went to lunch with TB28 girls and it's quite fun. Today it's only the 2nd tutorial and our class is already quite bonded. At least today, we introduced ourselves during Business Management tutorial, unlike yesterday when we start the tutorial straight and we don't even know each other yet.

Ok, my Dad rocks! He sent me to school today and picked me up in the evening to meet my Mum for dinner. I feel that it's gonna be a sickening day tomorrow, cos I need to bring my DSS and POA textbook plus my heavy labtop to school! Aargh. But nvm, Dad's gonna pick me up tomorrow after Rotaract meeting:)

Took the shuttle bus to NP today, it was so crowded and the bus was late, but luckily I wasn't late for my first tutorial. I'm starting to dislike Business Law cos there's like alot of things to memorise and half of the Qs that the tutor asked, I didn't know the answer because it's not even taught in lecture.

Ok, after POA lecture, mrt-ed back to Tampines and did some window-shopping. Sadly, nothing caught my eye and I seriously think I need more clothes for school. This made me appreciate school uniforms even more!

Got back home, bathed and changed, then Yunni came my house. We chatted and laughed over her classmate Ron- "The Whatever" joke! Later, we went and met up with Chiamin, Wanxuan and Justin at Tampines Mall. Had a very satisfying dinner at Pizza Hut, then Chiamin left earlier to meet her mum.

After that, we went to get Justin's mother birthday present at Precious Thots and then I bus-ed back with him. He's such a bully cos he farted in the bus and guess what, I was sitting beside him!!! Boo:(

Ok, let's do some recap of the happenings of yesterday and today!

Fri: TPJC Songfest was AWESOME! I had fun and I'm so in love with the last year's winner for the soloist category. He sings damn well! CLOTT's outing yesterday was abit screwed. Well, we didn't go for Sakae supper buffet since we reached Changi T2 by 10.30pm. In the end, Janice, Yunni and me ate Burger King while Chiamin and Wanxuan ate MacDonalds.

Sat: Met Chiamin, Janice and Siling at Simei CC. I was supposed to read through my lecture notes, but it was unproductive since I was so tired cos I didn't get a good night of sleep. I am like in a daze for the whole day!

Later, I met my parents and we decided to go to East Coast's Kenny Rogers for dinner. When I walked out of the carpark, I heard someone calling my name. Pardon me for my bad eyesight, I started to look around like a blind bat and then I saw someone really familiar. By my surprise, it's Sock Ling! Haha, the most funny thing was that both of us wore the OG Batman tee and were carrying the same Crumpler bag!!! LOL.

Omg, I'm so tired now but I think I'm gonna complete the Business Law tutorial hw later.

Today is considered quite unlucky for me. Mrt-ed to school and halfway through the journey, it started raining damn heavily! I got no umbrella and I was carrying my heavy labtop. Boo:(

Alighted at Dover mrt and waited for Bus74. But then, the stupid bus never come and I was gonna be late for lecture. So in the end, I cabbed to school again! Cabbed twice in the week already! But sadly, I'm late for lecture again! That's thrice in the week already LOL. Hahah, it's still ok because we have a 15mins grace period and everyone was also coming in late due to the rain and stupid bus74!

I had Macroeconomics lecture today! Totally loved the subject and the lecturer! She's so funny and seriously, I don't find her lame jokes lame lol! Plus, I think she explained the meaning of opportunity cost very well. It goes something like this:

*Scenario: A girl wants to breakup with her boyfriend via sms...
"john, i want to breakup with u and i have chosen eric instead. But u'll always be my OPPORTUNITY COST!"

Funny right? For those who does not know the meaning, opportunity cost is the next best alternative:)

Today, we were late for lecture again!

Not because we arrived late, but it's just that we can't find where the hell is LT45. We walked one big round, climbed the super duber steep road that resembles like a mini hill and still, we couldn't find the place. In the end, the whole group of us decided to follow the people in front of us. Hahah, finally we found LT45 and luckily lecture hasn't even started!

When we went in, all of us were damn hot and sweaty like as if we had PE lesson before lecture. Today is VERY boring because the lecturer for Business Management was so draggy. Thank goodness, she's not my tutor! But still, I paid full attention because some of the slides in her presentation is not in our handouts.

However, I still loved her because out of the 3 lectures that I have attended so far, she's the only one who dismissed us early by half an hour! After that, I went off early while some stayed back for DSS workshop or the Telematch.

Mrt-ed back to Tampines and shopped around but didn't find anything to buy. In the end, I decided to come back home instead cos the weather is killing me! So freaking hot!

Ok, I'm gonna sign off for today's post. I'm gonna try to start on some of my tutorial hw so I can go out on the weekends! Bye:)

I'm really in love with school!

Met Jerlyn at Jurong East around 2.30pm and found out that we are gonna be late for lecture at 3pm. In the end, we cabbed to NP and she refused to let me pay half of it. Luckily, we were on time and lecture hasn't even started.

I love my lecturer for Business Law. Though she's quite a drama-queen, but she is really candid and cute during her lecture. She also kept emphasising that it is against the law to have sex with the animals! LOL. Then she went on and on, telling us more examples of criminal law instead of civil law. She''s a really great lady and she dropped us alot of hints for our test.

After lecture, I went to NP bookshop and went to get my textbooks. There's a long queue but still, I didn't wait for long till my turn. Bought all the textbooks except for Business Management, because there's this nice guy who told me that it's actually not compulsory to get one.

My dad was damn nice to come pick me up from school today. He didn't want me to carry the heavy and thick books all the way from Clementi to Tampines. Plus, I am so happy because it was raining in Clementi. Luckily, he came to pick me up or else I'll be drenched!

Hello!

School officially starts today. Met up with Abigail and mrt-ed to NP. On the way, I saw Yi Siew and heard from her that Cheryl Lee, Caroline, Galvin and etc are also in NP! But sadly, she does not know what course are they in. Boo:(

Went only for a 2hr lecture today and found out that school is quite fun actually! However, the POA lecture was boring because it's so theory-based. All the time during the lecture, how I wished it's Mdm Zaibon teaching me instead!

After lecture, I went to meet my primary school friend- Janice whom I have not seen for 2yrs since our last class gathering. We then went to CCA fiesta to check out the CCAs. Coca Cola company was giving free Zero Coke away to everyone and the MC was really hilarious. He keep telling people to take more bottles and bring home for our parents to drink! LOL.

Oh ya, I joined two CCAs -Rotaract Club and Youth Alliance! I think it's damn meaningful to do some social and volunteer work and it seems to be really fun. We gonna organise camps, do some community service work and also go Third World countries to help out. I want to join them for their next trip to Cambodia!

*Hw: POA tutorial Q1-5. But first, I'll need to buy my TB before I can do hw.

Came back around 11plus last night cos of the stupid Bus9. Hahah and I slept till 10.30 this morning, this is considered quite a feat for me cos I'm usually an early bird.

I miss the waffles that we had last night for supper from DailyFresh. It's damn nice and my topping was Blueberry and Chocolate. I'm gonna skip church today because I have some last-minute errands to do.

Oh yeah, I haven't print my tmetable and lecture notes yet! I also need to find someone to accompany me to kill 3hrs tomorrow, while waiting for Sharmaine to end lessons to go to the CCA fiesta.

I'm looking forward to 25th April cos I want to go MOS- LOLLIPOP! It's so unfair that SP people has free admissions. Hmph, anyway I think I'm gonna go with Chiamin, perhaps Janice and Yunni can join us too. If you are interested to go, I think the ticket is $6 but I'm not too sure also. I'm gonna wait for Chiamin to give me more details about it.

I LOVE CHIA MIN cos she has saved me from boredom! But then, I think she don't like me now, cos I'm sort of snatching her wireless network and she can't connect. Opps!

Ern, I think cos my labtop is bigger than hers. Wait you may think it's a stupid theory, but hey! According to biology, my labtop has a larger surface area than hers. Hence, I can have more wireless!

Apparently, she is connected to wireless network cos I'm now sitting far far away from her. Hahah, she can't accuse me of snatching the connection from here. Actually, I don't think we are really far away from each other, maybe just a chair away. LOL.

Yesterday's the finale of Orientation. I love my OG- BatMan4!

I must say, Kee Han acted very well during his performance. He was the Ah Beng's Boss and now he got the signature move of "jio~ing" girls already! So funny and my friend say he looks like those Jap Anime Guys. LOL.

I have seen next week's timetable. It's very very very slack! Ok, I also got lots of lectures notes to print for the lessons next week. And guess what, my very first lecture is POA! Hahaha, I've seen the lecture notes and we are learning Assets, Liabilities and Owner's Equity. I think I can sleep through the lecture! POA in poly seems to be more theory-based but then generally, it's about the same stuff just abit more elaboration.

Ok, the holidays have finally ended. I'm gonna start school next Monday!

Ok, something is seriously wrong with blogger! I don't understand why my last post has disappeared. Funny lol.

I'm really tired after OG camp today. Tomorrow is the finale and I'm looking forward to see Kee Han's performance and skit. Seriously, I'm so tired today that I don't think I ever felt like this before in my life.

Hmph, today is the last day before I officially start school again! Tomorrow is Orientation and my OG has gotten a very cool name- BATMAN4! LOL.

After such a long break, it feels good to go back to school. I miss studying! If you are a JC student reading this, I'll bet you think I'm mad. Looking at how my friends are coping in JC, I feel that I've made the right choice to go Poly. They are always swarmed with tons of homework, lectures and also the irritating thing of printing notes almost everyday.

Oh yeah, my dad's gonna send me to school tomorrow. That means I don't have to take the 1.5hrs journey to school and I can wake up later! Three Cheers. Till now, I still don't know what bus I can take from the MRT to reach school lol. I went there twice but I forgotten the route since my dad drove me there the last time.

Hahah it's disaster right? I think I just bring extra money along with me tomorrow. In case I really lost my way, I think I'm gonna take cab home cos I'm an idiot to the west side. All my life has been revolved with the east and central Singapore. I'm much better than Ming Xuan cos his whole life is revolved in Yishun, but too bad Yishun does not have an university so he needs to drive to NTU. Boo, I'm so jealous of his car, it's so nice and cool. Perhaps that time, we should have helped him choose a uglier car instead. Lol, I'm so mean!
